Talking Fantasy: Who’s Hot?

Hello to everyone out there! It’s week six and it’s time for another addition of Fantasy Sleepers! So let’s get right to it shall we.

QBs:

Justin Fields (CHI) – Fields has not had a great start to his rookie season, but he is showing promise. He faces a pretty tough defense in GB but their secondary is depleted and could open up the pass game for him.

Carson Wentz (IND) – Wentz had his first 400 yard passing game of the season last week, this week he faces a HOU defense giving up 28 points per game.

Taylor Heinicke (WAS) – Heinicke should be in line for a big game for a few reasons. KC’s defense ranks 29th in passing yards allowed and he’ll most likely be playing from behind so he’ll have to air it out.

Kareem Hunt (CLE) – Hunt has five TDs this season and with Nick Chubb out for week six, he’ll will get the bulk of the carries against AZ, which ranks among the middle of the pack in rushing yards allowed this year.

Tyson Williams (BAL) – Tyson didn’t see much carries last week with Jackson going bananas on Indy, however, the Chargers rank 25th in the rush in 2021.

Khalil Herbert (CHI) – Khalil will take over the lead role with Williams out due to Covid, He also faces the GB defense that allows over four yards per rush & a rushing TD in the past three weeks.

WRs:

Jaylen Waddle (MIA) – Waddle has yet to break 65 yards in a game this year, but with Parker out and a terrible JAX defense that’s last in passing efficiency, He’s due for a breakout game.

Diontae Johnson (PIT) – Johnson has seen 10+ targets in every game this year and that should continue against a SEA defense that ranks almost last in all statistically categories.

Marvin Jones Jr (JAX) – Jones Jr has fallen off a little bit since his hot start to the season. Lucky for him he faces a MIA defense that just gave up five passing TDs last week.

TEs:

Mo Alie-Cox (IND) – Mo has quietly taken over the #1 TE spot from Doyle. He has two TDs over the past two games and gets a HOU defense that has given up four TDs to TEs this year.

Hunter Henry (NE) – Henry has back to back games with a TD and enters a game against the Cowboys, Which could be a high scoring game allowing Henry to get multiple redzone targets.

Jared Cook (LAC) –
Cook had a pretty bad game last week with only 29 yards, but this week against BAL he should do better, Considering they have allowed the third-most points to TEs this year.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET) – Amon-Ra has emerged as the go to guy in DET. Over the past two games he has 16 targets and over 130 receiving yards. This week he faces a CIN defense that allows 90+ yards to WRs.

Chubba Hubbard (CAR) – Hubbard gets another start with CMC still sidelined. He’ll also get the MIN defense that gives up the ninth-most fantasy points to RBs this year.

Tyler Boyd (CIN) – Even though Boyd sits behind Chase and Higgins, he’s still hauled in 73 yards and a score in three games this year. Now he faces a DET defense that is near the bottom of the pack in total defense.
