Talking Fantasy: Who’s Hot?

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another week of Fantasy Sleepers. It’s week five and it’s time to get your lineups ready, so let’s do this!

QBs:

Jameis Winston (NO) – Winston is averaging 7.9 yards per attempt and faces a Washington defense that has not lived up to the hype.

Ryan Tannehill (TEN) – Tannehill threw for almost 300 yards last week without the services of AJ Brown or Julio Jones, If at least one of the WRs comes back, Tannehill will have a field day against a Jacksonville defense giving up over 300 passing yards per game.

Joe Burrow (CIN) – Burrow has thrown for at least two TDs in each game this year. Green Bay ranks 23rd in DVOA (Defense Value Adjusted over Average). I like that match up.

RBs:

Damien Williams (CHI) – Damien is in a prime spot this week due to the fact David Montgomery is out and the Las Vegas Raiders are giving up almost five yards per carry to RBs. Rookie Justin Fields under center likely means the Bears will look to lean on their ground game this week.

Zack Moss (BUF) – Moss has four TDs in three games this year. Now he gets to go up against a Kansas City defense that ranks dead last in rush DVOA this year.

Mike Davis (ATL) – Davis has at least 15 touches in every game this season and he faces a New York Jets defense that is giving up the most PPR fantasy points to RBs this year. Sorry Saleh, I’m rolling with Davis here.

WRs:

Laviska Shenault (JAX) – Shenault topped 100 scrimmage yards for the first time in his career last week and gets a Tennessee defense that has given up the most yards to WRs this year (944) and TD’s (8). Very rarely do you roll with the Jaguars, but I like Shenault this week.

AJ Green (AZ) – Green has found new life in the Arizona desert. Now, he’s averaging over 74 yards over the last three games. This week he faces the 49ers defense that is giving up 150+ yards to WR’s per game. Unfortunately, I have to go with Green here.

Jamison Crowder (NYJ) – Crowder saw nine targets in his debut last week! This week he gets the Falcons defense that is 28th in DVOA. Zach Wilson looked much better last week, so let’s hope he continues to improve.

Mike Gesicki (MIA) – Gesicki has at least 85 yards or a receiving TD in each of his last two games. He is being utilized in the offense more with Jacoby Brissett as QB.

Dawson Knox (BUF) – Knox has four TDs this season and now has a great matchup against the Kansas City defense that is second to last in passing DVOA. Josh Allen is elite and he’ll surely take advantage!

Ricky Seals-Jones (WASH) – Jones is going to see an up-tick in targets this week with Logan Thomas out. Seals caught a TD in week two against the Giants could see another one this week.

Cordarelle Patterson (ATL) – Patterson blew up the Washington defense last week and without Ridley and Gage in the lineup, he could have just as big of a game (if not bigger) against the Jets.

Hunter Renfrow (LV) – Renfrow has caught at least five passes in every game and has a TD in back-to-back games. Now, he gets a Chicago defense that is allowing almost 9 yards per pass, which is 28th in the league.

Leonard Fournette (TB) – Fournette saw a season high 20 touches last week, and this week he faces a Miami defense that has given up five rushing TDs so far this year to RBs.

There you go folks. Another week in the books and another round of fantasy sleepers! Hope this helps you out this week and as usual, have fun and good luck with your fantasy week!
