Regular Season
WEEK 1 (AWAY) Detroit Lions SEP 12, 10:00 AM FOX
-Win, the newly revamped Lions will be just getting their footing as we look forward to the San Francisco defense to take some kneecaps in this game.
WEEK 2 (AWAY) Philadelphia Eagles SEP 19, 10:00 FOX
-Win, the Eagles will also be trying to get acclimated with a first year head coach, going against a solid defensive unit that has the ability to terrorize offenses with ease .
WEEK 3 (HOME) Green Bay Packers SEP 26, 5:20 PM NBC
-Loss, ultimately I think this game comes down to is Aaron Rodgers still the Quarterback for the Packers? For now he still is.
WEEK 4 (HOME) Seattle Seahawks OCT 3, 1:05 PM FOX
-Win, the Seahawks are hoping Russ cooks with no additions to their already atrocious offensive line. I think the defense gets to Wilson causing the Seahawks to fall behind early.
WEEK 5 (AWAY) Arizona Cardinals OCT 10, 1:25 PM FOX
-Loss. even though I’m not a big fan of Kingsbury the talent on the roster is stacked and it seems that the Cardinals always seem to give us a hard time. Round 1 to the Cardinals.
WEEK 6 – BYE
WEEK 7 (HOME) Indianapolis Colts OCT 24, 5:20 PM NBC
-Loss, Buckner’s return to San Francisco will result in him taking home the win, but I think this will be a heated matchup between two great teams and could ultimately come down to the wire.
WEEK 8 (AWAY) Chicago Bears OCT 31, 10:00 AM FOX
-Win, I think the supporting cast in this Bears unit is very minimal whether it’s Fields or Dalton starting it’s going to be an uphill battle for the Bears.
WEEK 9 (HOME) Arizona Cardinals NOV 7, 1:25 PM FOX
-Win, home field advantage will play a part in this game and I think that the 49ers will be hungry to settle the score from their first match up.
WEEK 10 (HOME) Los Angeles Rams NOV, 15 5:15 PM ESPN
-Win, I think this one will be a shootout especially with Stafford opening up McVay’s playbook, but even with all the hype behind the Rams, I see the 49ers having the edge in this matchup.
WEEK 11 (AWAY) Jacksonville Jaguars NOV, 21 10:00 AM FOX
-Win, two words, Jacksonville Jaguars.
WEEK 12 (HOME) Minnesota Vikings NOC 28, 1:25 PM FOX
-Win, I think the Vikings are a tough team but ultimately it will come down to which Kirk Cousins comes to play.
WEEK 13 (AWAY) Seattle Seahawks DEC 5, 5:20 PM NBC
-Loss, the 12th man will be in full effect with covid restrictions being lifted, I think this is one of the more tougher games this schedule.
WEEK 14 (AWAY) Cincinnati Bengals DEC 12, 10:00 AM CBS
-Win, Bengals, they have a solid group of skill positions but added no protection for Burrow.
WEEK 15 (HOME) Atlanta Falcons DEC 19, 1:05 PM CBS
-Win, Falcons have a great offense but no defense so they will definitely struggle to stop any offensive attack.
WEEK 16 (AWAY) Tennessee Titans DEC 23, 5:20 PM NFLN
-Loss, I think this is a tough game especially on a short week heading up against one of the most aggressive backs in the league.
WEEK 17 (HOME) Houston Texans JAN 2, 1:05 PM CBS
-Win, Texans. Regardless if Watson is the QB or not they are severely depleted with the departure of Bill O’Brien and are stuck in a rebuild phase once again.
WEEK 18 (AWAY) Los Angeles Rams JAN 9, 1:25PM FOX
-Win, this was a tough call to make but I think the 49ers will ultimately sweep the Rams.
Final thoughts on schedule
12-5 record high hopes for a team riddled with injuries just a year ago. Could I be completely wrong? Maybe. I think if Jimmy stays healthy we’re a threat. I also think if Lance beats Jimmy out we’re a threat. Either way, you cut it the 49ers have a favorable schedule with a solid team on both sides of the ball. I look forward to Aiyuk taking a huge leap this season and solidifying himself as WR1. A more solidified offensive line headed by Trent Williams, Laken Tomlinson, Alex Mac, Aaron Banks, and Mike McGlinchey giving our RB committee an opportunity to rush for 100+ yards a game. Bosa coming back stronger and faster with Ebukam on the opposite side of the ball just giving opposing quarterbacks nightmares every week. DeMeco Ryans has a ton of talent on a defensive roster that is loaded with a ton of depth and enough rotational pieces to keep everyone running in high gear.
